Join peer artfarm print nerds and newbies for RISO, how romantic! a three hour orientation to the fundamentals of risograph.
This RISO AF Bootcamp is $25 for artfarm members and $100 for non-members. Contributions support common resources at artfarm. Limit 10 participants.
Attending a RISO AF Bootcamp is a requirement before artfarm members can book a time slot to use the risograph duplicator.
Risograph duplicators look a lot like a photocopier but operate like an automated screen print for printing on paper! RISO uses a cool printing process with soy or rice bran ink, making it an ecologically minded printing technique. This RISO is an SF5450 with ten available ink drum colors. This machine can print one color at a time from 3 15/16” × 5 13/16” to 12 7/32” × 17”.
After successfully completing this orientation, artfarm members can book time slots to use the duplicator for their special projects! People with lots of riso experience are also welcome to attend to refresh their knowledge and share what they know with peers.
